July 24, 2013 - Post op visit with Dr. Avansino

We headed to Grammy's the weekend before B'Elanna's post-op clinic appointment.  As always... she found some fun thing to play with...

Then, we had our Post-Op appointment with Dr. Avansino.  He said she is healing GREAT and is ready to start her anal dilations with these...

  We have to do these dilations twice a day, to keep keep her sphincter open.  We are starting at a #10 dilator and have to go up to a #15.  This is our ... #10 for 3 days, then #11 for 2 weeks, #12 for 2 weeks, #13 for 2 weeks, then #14 for a full month, then #15 twice a day for a month, then #15 once a day for a month, then #15 every other day until her Colostomy takedown surgery.
