Guangzhou Day 11 - Medical Appt.

Got up and tried to be done and ready by the time B'Elanna woke up today.... didn't work.... so once again, she had to wait for Mommy and Grammy to finish getting ready.   This means she was in a prickly mood by the time we left for breakfast.... but she got to walk in the hallways and push elevator buttons along the way, so things were better after that!

Today, we had our Medical Examination appointments.  Because B'Elanna seem to attach to the stroller instead of me or Grammy the last few times she was majorly stressed.... I wasn't taking a chance and put her in the carrier for today's appointment.

Our group met in the lobby at 9:30am and gave our money and paperwork to our guides.  While they were getting everything organized.... B'Elanna and a couple of the boys started playing together.   This is a big step.... today is the first day she has really interacted with the othe kids... mostly it has been just staring or giggling over the seats!

Then we headed to the medical appointment.   B'Elanna did not like being in the carrier at first, but she quiets down after about 5 minutes.   And today, she went to sleep.   She woke up for her Passport picture and was done with that lickety-split.   I just put her in the chair, they used a toy to get her to look up and it was done.... she got to keep her bows in her hair and everything!!   I felt like we were at a JC Penny's photo place in the States... it was that easy.    Next we had the ENT, weight/height and General Examination where the Medical person checks out her special need. 

Her measurments are: 
Height = 85cm = 33.5 inches
Weight = 10.2 kg = 22.5 pounds

B'Elanna did VERY well through all of the examinations.... event the TB shot.

Then, of course, she got the sucker for being so good!   We got back to the room to take a nap.... but No she was all wound up and there was NO getting her to sleep!

So Alison Franklin, ReRe and us went to Shamain Island to check it out.   We are going back again tomorrow for the REAL shopping trip!!
